AND NOW. YOUTH. GLORIFY ME

Live performance

2014

AND NOW. YOUTH. GLORIFY ME is a live performance of an hour, during which an offering of sweat is being made. Over the course of 5 days and a total of 10 sessions, sweat is created by cycling and collected into a jerrycan. Depending on how many boys are willing to donate their sweat, the performance switches from three to two or one cyclist. While actively cycling, the young men are being watched by he who passively watches them from a high round platform and craves for their youth. On the final day he who passively watched, offered his own sweat by cycling himself, mixing his own sweat with that of the youth.
